【朗報】Google「既存のファーウェイ製品は今後もサービスを使える」

米Googleが中国Huaweiとの一部ビジネスを停止したとロイターが報じている。これに対してGoogleは「既存のファーウェイ搭載端末でサービスは今後も使える」コメントした。

本誌の問い合わせに対するグーグル広報によるコメントは、「私たちはその命令を順守し、その影響を検討しています。Google Play、そしてGoogle Play Protectによるセキュリティ保護機能は、既存のファーウェイ搭載端末で引き続き機能します。（We are complying with the order and reviewing the implications. For users of our services, Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices.）」というもの。




このコメントからは、ファーウェイとの取引の中断が事実であるとともに、既存製品のユーザーへの影響がないことが読み取れる。
